problem. Many participants have a long history of battling extra
pounds. Others may not be overweight, but suffer from compulsive
over eating, binge eating or bulimia. The vulnerability they share
is feeling out of control with food, and a preoccupation with eating
and weight that drains their lives of valuable energy.
