Training and Internships

Feeding Ourselves offers clinical internships to professionals with advanced degrees, as well as a limited number of student internships for undergraduates. Qualified individuals who complete the training and supervision program are eligible for counseling positions on the Feeding Ourselves staff.

Previous trainees who have completed the internship programs and served on the Feeding Ourselves staff since 1975 include graduates from Harvard University, Lesley University, Boston College School of Social Work, Simmons College School of Social Work, and Tufts University School of Nutrition.

Feeding Ourselves also provides in-service training to mental health agencies, community health centers, women's organizations, fitness centers, and Employee Assistance Programs. Speakers for on-site "brown bag" lunches are also available on request.

Please contact the Program Coordinator for further information regarding training.
